The Municipal Council, Executive Board and officials exercise the right of decision making in the municipality. The municipal decision making and to some extent also the preparation are public. The protocols of the different municipal bodies and the decisions made by the civil servants are available for public inspection. The Municipal Council’s meetings are public.

The municipal members’ possibilities to influence

You can influence the activity in your own municipality by voting and by standing as candidate in the municipal elections. As an inhabitant in the municipality you also have the right to take the initiative in matters concerning the municipality’s activity. You can also influence by following the decision making process and by taking part in the social debate and in citizen activities.
