Ingå has a lot to offer entrepreneurs

   - an excellent position outside the busy traffic of the capital region,
     only about 50 km west of central Helsingfors.
   - good connections to Salo, Åbo, Lojo, Hangö, Helsingfors and the rest of the world
   - a deep sea harbour with the country’s best fairway and a well developed dispatch
     system, a short distance to the Baltic region and Central Europe
   - plots of land for companies and industries, e.g. in Dal just next to the municipal
     centre. Planning is in progress in Torp near the municipal centre.
     In 2006 47 new companies were founded in Ingå, most of which in Degerby.
